YOUTH
Student Groups

The SUP Coalition sponsors 6 student groups in the following high schools: Becker, Big Lake, Elk River, Rogers, Spectrum, and Zimmerman.

Student Group Facts:

  • Current student groups are:

    • Becker's "Dream Team" (Drug Related Education & Awareness Mentors)

    • Big Lake's "E.P.I.C." (Encouraging Positive Influences & Choices)

    • Spectrum's "Sobriety Squad"

    • Elk River's "E.P.I.C." (Encouraging Positive Influences & Choices)

    • Zimmerman's Sober Heroes

    • Roger's "Dream Team" (Drug Related Education & Awareness Mentors)

  • A school staff member at each school serves as the advisor to the group.

  • Student groups plan and carry out prevention activities targeting their peers and also the community. Many students want their peers to know that alternative activities exist without the presence of drugs and alcohol.

  • Students involved in the student groups may earn community service hours for some of their work while gaining leadership skills.

  • Membership is open to students at participating schools. There is NO cost to join!
